How to Control Temperature with ERA

The PAX ERA lineup of vape pens are designed for easy and discreet usage of cannabis oil. Every device offers a way to control the temperature of the oil and in turn flavors, aromas, and potency. 

What are the temperature modes for ERA, ERA LIFE, and ERA PRO?

The ERA, ERA LIFE, and ERA PRO support four temperature modes between 520°F to 790°F. You can easily cycle through the settings by using Pop and Click technology, where you pop your pod up, click it back in, and repeat it as-needed to get to your desired setting. The device will light up according to the temperature for the ERA and ERA LIFE and also vibrate for the ERA PRO.

• Low: The device will warm to 520°F. This setting is represented by a single lit "petal" on the device's LED indicator.
• Medium Low: The device will warm to 610°F. This setting is represented by two lit petals on the device's LED indicator.
• Medium High: The device will warm to 700°F. This setting is represented by three lit petals on the device's LED indicator.
• High: The device will warm to 790°F. This setting is represented by a fully-lit LED indicator.

What are the ERA Classic's temperature modes?

The PAX Era Classic supports four temperature modes between 520°F to 790°F. You can easily cycle through the settings by entering Temp Set mode, which you can access by lightly shaking the device and removing the pod. In Temp Set mode, the device's LED indicator will change to display which setting you have currently selected:

• Low: The device will warm to 520°F. This setting is represented by a single lit "petal" on the device's LED indicator.
• Medium Low: The device will warm to 610°F. This setting is represented by two lit petals on the device's LED indicator.
• Medium High: The device will warm to 700°F. This setting is represented by three lit petals on the device's LED indicator.
• High: The device will warm to 790°F. This setting is represented by a fully-lit LED indicator.

How does temperature influence your sessions?

Temperature profoundly impacts your cannabis experience. The main factors at play are vapor production as well as the corresponding flavors and aromas.

• Vapor Production: Generally, the higher the temperature, the more vapor your vape pen will produce. Conversely, lower temperature settings will help you control the size of those conspicuous clouds.
• Flavor and Aromas: Altering the temperature setting could change the flavor of your vapor. Typically, higher temperatures burn off more of the terpenes and therefore flavors and aromas, and lower temperatures bring them out.
